Creative Coaches programming connects students and underserved youth to community mentors through specialty programming accessible to over 33,000 Des Moines Public School students. This program ignites a collaborative environment of young thinkers and professional mentorship to develop the next generation of successful entrepreneurs and innovators.

We actively engage with schools to identify students' interests and learning needs, facilitating connections with specialized artists and mentors to establish tailored Creative Coaches Clubs, ensuring that youth receive personalized guidance and opportunities aligned with their passions and aspirations.

Through these programs, we can help youth expand their critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and social-emotional well-being through unique learning opportunities and guided mentorship.

MUSIC AND MANIFESTATION WITH CORAL THEDE

“On Tuesdays, I get to spend an hour with K-2nd graders while we talk about the parts of the guitar, work on deep breathing exercises and practice our affirmations. We sing and dance and even tell jokes! It’s a fun way for the kids to expand their creativity into something that could one day be their profession. My favorite part is when they get excited to share a story or song. We work on standing tall, projecting our voice and making eye contact. It’s cool to see them come out of their shell. Whether it’s music, art or whatever their creative calling is, I hope they use it. Des Moines is full of talented creators and I think it’s important for the kids to know they can pursue and build off their gifts right here, if they so choose.” – Coral Thede
